One of the most stressful things about traveling is PACKING! And why not?
I mean, if you’re going to be away from home for a certain amount of time, you want to have the things you need!
The question is… will you have THE SPACE for what you need, and what you WANT to bring on your trip?
Sean and I never check baggage. We can go to Europe for a week with only carry-on luggage. But that’s because we’ve learned the trick to maximizing your luggage space!
ROLL YOUR CLOTHES
When you pack for your next trip, roll each shirt, short, pant, etc into a hoagie shape (shout out to my philly friends!).
Each “roll” will fit snuggly with the next and you’ll feel smiles emerge!
I can usually create 2 rows of “rolled” clothes, with a little overlap.
Maybe that extra something will fit with no problem.
Need another trick? Are you packing shoes? Put your prescription medications inside your shoes to fill up empty space. (Don’t do this on an overnight flight when you need those medications at bedtime)
Hope these little tips help you on your next Adventure!
